Community Initiatives

Lionheart Coffee Company is focused on supporting those in our community that are working to provide food, clean water, shelter and emergency services to those in need locally and internationally. We offer support by highlighting their work in our store, promoting volunteer and service opportunities, and donating a percentage of our profit to their organization. Please stay tuned as we will have more information regarding our community initiatives in the coming months. If you would like to nominate a charity for us to support, drop us a line!

Willamette West Habitat for Humanity builds permanent housing for low-income families in Washington County. In exchange for 500 hours of “sweat equity,” Habitat provides recipients with a new house at zero percent interest and a mortgage based on their income. Since 1988, Willamette West Habitat has constructed 92 homes. For more information, please visit http://www.habitatwest.org/.

Lionheart Coffee Co. sends volunteers to the Beaverton site at least once a month. It is seriously amazing; especially when we get to work alongside the homeowner. Shifts are typically on Saturdays. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please email info@lionheartcoffee.com. We always bring coffee and treats!

Oregon Food Bank’s mission is to eliminate hunger and its root causes; because no one should be hungry. They take a holistic approach to ending hunger by providing food, education, and hope to our community. OFB provides emergency food to people who are hungry through a cooperative statewide network of hunger-relief agencies. Their efforts help 1 in 5 households fend off hunger.

Lionheart Coffee Co. is proud to send volunteers to the Oregon Food Bank at least once a month to pack meals for our community in need.  If you are interested in volunteering with us, please email info@lionheartcoffee.com. Volunteer shifts are typically in the evening for 2-3 hours.
